Indonesia, 5 September 2023 – Mitbana, together with PT Sinar Puspapersada, a subsidiary of PT. Intiland Development Tbk, has launched Green Bestari Park, a 51-hectare integrated township and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) located in Talaga Bestari in Tangerang, Greater Jakarta, Indonesia.
The joint venture company, PT. Inti Mitbana Development, will develop Green Bestari Park in three phases. The first phase is a 14-hectare area that includes cluster landed homes, retail areas, a town centre with F&B outlets, and a new clubhouse for residents. The subsequent phases of development will include residences, a city park, commercial areas, and a TOD integrated with the future Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the East-West MRT line connecting Balaraja and Cikarang.
Mitbana, a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong, is the 70 percent majority shareholder of the joint venture. Leveraging Mitsubishi Corporation’s experience in urban development in Japan and Indonesia, as well as Surbana Jurong’s expertise in planning and designing urban and infrastructure projects globally, Mitbana will oversee the masterplan, urban design and planning of the development, together with Intiland overseeing the land preparation, infrastructure development and local stakeholder engagements for the project.
