Mr Yeo Choon Chong was appointed Chairman of Mitbana on 13 February 2023.
He is also CEO, ASEAN at Surbana Jurong and is responsible for leading Surbana Jurong’s multidisciplinary business in the region. He is also the Group Managing Director of KTP Consultants, a member of Surbana Jurong Group, and was instrumental in expanding KTP’s business operations across Asia.
Mr Yeo has more than 30 years of experience in leading the design and delivery of infrastructure and urban development projects in Singapore and the region. For his innovative solutions in delivering complex projects, he has received several buildability, design and engineering safety excellence awards. He is a keen advocate for innovative design, sustainability and buildability, and sits on several professional committees in Singapore to promote supporting initiatives.
Mr Yeo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from the University of Sheffield, UK.
Hiroki ITOKAWA presently serves as the Division Chief Operating Officer for Mitsubishi Corporation’s (MC) Urban Development Group.
Mr. Itokawa also holds directorships in Diamond Realty Management Inc. (Japan); Diamond Realty Investments Inc. (USA); and Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development Inc. (Japan).
Prior to this, Mr. Itokawa was the President & CEO at Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development Inc.(Japan), MC’s 100% subsidiary property developer with a track record of developing various retail and logistic assets across Japan.
He has more than 31 years’ experience in the real estate and urban development industry in Japan and Asia and Oceania regions, as he was also stationed in Singapore from 2014 to 2017 as the General Manager of what is now Urban Development Group in MC’s Singapore Branch.
Mr. Itokawa holds B.A. in Business and Commerce from Keio University, Japan.
Hiroshi NAKANISHI is currently Senior Vice President & General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) Singapore. In this role, he oversees the operations & strategic development of MC’s Singapore Branch.
Previously, Mr Nakanishi held various leadership positions in MC including as Division COO of MC’s Asset Finance Division; Chairman of the Board at MC Aviation Partners Inc.; Director of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation; Director of Vermillion Aviation Holdings Ltd.; Director of Marunouchi Capital Inc.; and General Manager of Aviation Business Department.
Mr Nakanishi holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University.
Yee Ean PANG is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Surbana Jurong Capital, the investment arm of Surbana Jurong Group that focuses on financing of infrastructure and urban development.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Pang was Director General of Investment Operations at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where he was responsible for identifying and executing strategic infrastructure investments in Asia, financing both sovereign and private sectors.
Between 2013-2016, Mr Pang had been the Group COO of Surbana Jurong, and CEO of Surbana International Consultants.
Mr Pang also previously held various senior positions at Ascendas (now a member of CapitaLand Group). He was Senior Vice President of Real Estate Funds where he co-led the SGX listing of a S$700 million Ascendas Hospitality Trust, and Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Ascendas Services Pte Ltd, overseeing asset management of Ascendas’ industrial & commercial developments. In his time with Ascendas, Mr Pang spent 6 years stationed in India, including as Head of North India and Head of Hyderabad.
Yee Ean holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
Shih Chia YAP is the Chief Executive Officer of Mitbana and is responsible for the overall growth and development of the company.
Shih Chia has over 20 years of experience in regional business development, corporate finance, private equity, strategic planning, real estate investments and developments. Prior to joining Mitbana, Shih Chia was Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, Strategy & New Business at Chye Thiam Maintenance, an environmental services firm in Singapore. His responsibilities included charting the Group’s strategy, spearheading strategic investments, government liaison, corporate communications, new businesses, and sales and marketing activities within the Group.
He currently sits on the Boards of HIF International Fund Pte. Limited and HIREF International Fund II Pte. Limited as non-executive independent director and member of the Investment Committee since 2014. Both funds are Singapore MAS-registered Real Estate Private Equity funds backed by HDFC Limited, one of India's leading housing finance companies, and strong global institutional investors, with the sole mandate to invest in Indian real estate.
Shih Chia has also held senior appointments across Singapore Exchange listed companies including TEE Land Limited and Stamford Land Corporation Ltd, where he was responsible for the acquisition, development, sales, disposal and repositioning of different real estate asset classes regionally. Having worked at Singapore Exchange Limited, he is also well-versed with REITs, Business Trusts, alternative fund-raising options and corporate governance requirements.

Joseph UEDA is the President & Chief Operating Officer of Mitbana Pte. Ltd. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the company, he also oversees investment opportunities and local partnerships.
Joseph has over 25 years of experience in finance, private equity and real assets investment & asset management, as well as strategic planning. Prior to this appointment, Joseph was General Manager at Urban Development Group CEO Office in Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) Headquarters and was responsible for overseeing business investments of the Urban Development Group as well as serving as a Member of MC’s Investment Committee. Joseph also served as Vice President of MC Financial Services Ltd. (New York, NY) and Aladdin Capital Holdings LLC (Stamford, CT) from 2007-2011.

Masafumi MANNO is currently a General Manager in the Urban Development Department at Mitsubishi Corporation (MC). He is based in MC’s Tokyo Headquarters and is responsible for overseeing MC’s urban development projects undertaken in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
Masafumi has over 28 years of experience in finance, real estate investment & asset management, strategic planning and human resources management in MC’s Tokyo Headquarters and subsidiaries in Japan and the U.S..
Prior to this appointment, Masafumi was General Manager at Urban Development Group in MC’s Tokyo Headquarters and was responsible for human resources & general affairs.
Between 2012-2016, Masafumi was Executive Vice President in MC Financial Service Ltd. (New York, NY) and Chief Operating Officer in MC Asset Management Holdings, LLC (Stamford, CT), during which he formed and led one of the largest commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) conduit projects in North Americas.
Masafumi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Waseda University, Japan.
Vincent Lee is designated as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Mitbana in June 2022, overseeing the development of projects, and concurrently holding the appointment as the President Director of the JV Company developing the projects in BSD, Jakarta.
Vincent joined Surbana Jurong as Director – Surbana Jurong Capital on April 2018, overseeing the development management function in SJ Capital.
Practicing as a Civil & Structural Engineer and Project Manager, his hands-on experiences range from a mega power plant installation in the Jurong islands to planning and supervision of a few HDB New Town developments.
Vincent joined SLF Management Services (NTUC/SLF) in 1997 and appointed as the General Manager where he helmed the real estate service arm of NTUC/SLF. He managed the real estate business and projects like the development of One Marina Boulevard, Marina Golf Course and AMK Hub.
He also served CapitaLand Group from 2007 to 2014, where he accomplished several notable achievements such as the acquisition and expansion of Storhub, the self-storage business arm of the Group, and the completion of the Market Street re-development project (CapitaGreen).
Vincent had served as Deputy Director in Far East Organization (FEO), where he has contributed in the strategic development and planning of real estate businesses and development projects, both in Singapore and overseas. His other responsibilities were to oversee the operations, maintenance & building management of FEO’s hospitality and retail assets as the Director, Central Engineering.
Vincent graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology in the UK.
Daisuke Kobayashi is Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Mitbana Pte. Ltd.
Daisuke has over 27 years of experience in the real estate and urban development industry in Japan and China.
Prior to this, Daisuke was Senior vice President at Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development Inc. (Japan), MC’s 100% subsidiary property developer with a track record of developing various retail and logistic assets across Japan. Daisuke also served as Team Leader of China Investment Team in Global Real Este unit at Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and executed investments into mixed development in china including residential apartment, commercial complex, office buildings and Logistics.
Daisuke holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Economics from Kobe University in Japan. Daisuke has also completed exchange program at ESCP Business school in Paris (2004/ 9-2005/5)
Minako ARAKI is Director, Evaluation at Mitbana Pte. Ltd. and is responsible for supporting the evaluation of potential investments. Prior to this appointment, Minako worked at Mitsubishi Corporation’s Tokyo Headquarters, where she was responsible for the management of real estate development projects in Indonesia. Minako has over 10 years’ experience in the infrastructure field, with a focus on airport concessions and its associated project development, business planning and financing.
Minako holds a B.A. in Business Management from Hitotsubashi University in Japan.
Melvin TAN is Financial Controller at Mitbana Pte. Ltd. and is responsible to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation and planning, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures for any potential investments.
Prior to joining Mitbana, Melvin was Head of Finance at JLL and has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience in the real estate industry, serving a wide array of clientele, driving compliance and internal process improvement to meet statutory, company and client standards. He also instituted strategic digital transformation and was instrumental in driving and implementing of a successful shared service team in India.
Melvin is a Chartered Certified Accountant of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (‘ACCA’).
Yukihiko (Yogi) ANDO is Senior Manager (Business Development) at Mitbana Pte. Ltd. and is responsible for supporting the business development and evaluation of potential investments. Prior to this appointment, Yogi worked at Mitsubishi Corporation’s Tokyo Headquarters, where he was responsible for the management of real estate development projects in Myanmar, Vietnam and India. In his time in Tokyo, Yogi served as a chairman of Mitsubishi Corporation’s staff union for 1 year, representing over 3,400 employees. Yogi also spent 1 year in Los Angeles, U.S.A from 2012 to 2013, as part of Mitsubishi Corporation’s Global Trainee program.
Yogi holds a B.A. in Economics from Kyushu University.
Hironori NAKAJIMA is Manager, Evaluation at Mitbana Pte. Ltd. and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential investments. Prior to this appointment, Hironori worked at Mitsubishi Corporation’s Tokyo Headquarters, where he was involved in the quantitative analysis and portfolio management of real estate development projects in Vietnam and Myanmar.
Hironori holds a M.A. in Civil Engineering from Tokyo University, where he majored in inter-city transportation planning and management.
Hailun ZHAO is Senior Associate at Mitbana Pte. Ltd. and is responsible for the office’s administrative & marketing operations. She also supports the team’s larger business development efforts. Prior to this appointment, Hailun was with Surbana Jurong (SJ) Group, where she was part of SJ’s marketing team managing marketing collaterals, corporate presentation slides and corporate brochures. Hailun was also part of SJ’s internal business development team that oversaw tender submissions & clarifications, as well as contract signings for the company.
Hailun holds a BBM (Economics & Finance) from the Singapore Institute of Management.
Maresuke ENDO leads the development of strategic plans & investment directives for the Indonesia team and supports the investment team to close-out the deployment of capital in selected urban investments. A secondee from Mitsubishi Corporation, Maresuke has 15 years’ experience deploying & managing infrastructure investments, including a global infrastructure fund manager with US$2.5 billion AUM in the Global Strategic Investment Alliance (GSIA). He also held various roles in the oil & gas industry, including dealing with investments & asset management of FPSO (floating production storage and offloading) & FSO (floating storage and offloading).
Maresuke holds a MSc. in Civil & Earth Resource Engineering from Kyoto University, and completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.
Eugene HENG oversees the corporate and strategic affairs of the Joint Venture projects in Indonesia. Prior to joining Mitbana, Eugene was with China Fortune Land Development (CFLD) working on township projects in Vietnam and Indonesia. Eugene started his career as a management executive at CapitaLand and completed various rotational assignments in fund management, strategic planning, research and marketing. Eugene was also based in Jakarta for 1 year from 2016 – 2017 overseeing the sales launch preparation for “The Stature Jakarta”, CapitaLand’s first integrated development in Indonesia.
Eugene graduated from Singapore Management University with a double degree in Economics & Business Management (Summa Cum Laude). He is also a recipient of the Economic Society of Singapore Excellence Award, Ministry of Trade & Industry Economist Service Prize and SMU CIRCLE Award.
Wee Hooi GAN oversees all construction-related matters for the Joint Venture projects in Indonesia. Prior to this appointment, Wee Hooi was Project Director in Surbana Jurong (SJ) Myanmar from 2016 – 2021 overseeing the planning, execution, control and monitoring of various projects across the country.
Wee Hooi is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is experienced in administering local and international contracts such as FIDIC, SIA, PSSCOC etc. Wee Hooi has held various appointments in multinational corporations such as WSP Global and Hitachi Nippon Steel, and was involved in multidisciplinary mixed-use projects such as the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort in Singapore, as well as Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) infrastructure projects.
Wee Hooi holds a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronic (First Class Hons) from the University of Lincoln (United Kingdom, UK) and holds professional memberships with Project Management Institute (USA), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
Kin Yew WONG oversees the development strategic plan and the administration of the development life cycle. Prior to this appointment, Kin Yew was Planning and Design Manager at World Class Global Limited from 2014 to 2021. He focused on project planning and design management for mixed-use, hospitality and residential developments, in various cities within Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Kin Yew was an Architect at one of the top architectural practices in Australia, DesignInc where he was a project lead and was responsible for executing numerous complex projects.
Kin Yew graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture, from Curtin University of Technology in 2003. He is a registered architect with the Board of Architects of Western Australia. He has also obtained certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a Green Mark Accredited Professional with the Singapore Green Building Council.
